PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that appropriateness of a parameter among a plurality of items cannot be guaranteed although there is a technique on individual parameter of firmware. SOLUTION: In a step 11, a setting value table is read and a valid range table is read as an initial processing. In a step 12, it is determined whether the existed parameter is in a valid range or not at every item. When the item has an identifier of ID4, the item belongs to a group 2, the index of the valid range is INDEX4, ID4_DATA1 to ID4_DATA3 have been written in the valid range table in accordance with INDEX4 as the valid range. Since the setting value of the user is ID4_DATA4, it is determined to be out of the valid range and it is set to be an initial value with the parameter of the other items (ID3 and ID5) belonging to the same group 2 in a step 13.
