PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an electromagnetic wave reflection member, by which reduction in the reflectance caused in the production process can be recovered. SOLUTION: The method for producing an electromagnetic wave reflection member includes: an intermediate member production step of producing an intermediate member, in which a selective reflection layer-containing member containing a selective reflection layer that reflects electromagnetic waves of a right-handed circularly polarized light component or a left-handed circularly polarized light component, a first adhesive layer formed on the surface of the selective reflection layer, and a first transparent external substrate formed on the surface of the first adhesive layer are integrated by heating and pressurizing; and a corrective heating step of heating the intermediate member to a temperature equal to or higher than the temperature where alignment disturbance in the selective reflection layer is corrected.
