There is provided according to the present invention a vehicle speed limit control device for a vehicle, including: a vehicle speed limit setting portion that sets and changes a vehicle speed limit according to a vehicle speed limit command value that can be changed depending on the number of operations of a vehicle speed limit command means in compliance with a given time condition; a vehicle speed detecting portion that detects an actual vehicle speed of the vehicle; a driving force control portion that controls a driving force of the vehicle based on the vehicle speed limit and the actual vehicle speed; a vehicle speed limit command difference calculating portion that calculates a difference between an initial value of the vehicle speed limit command value immediately before an initial operation of the vehicle speed limit command means and a changed value of the vehicle speed limit command value at a current operation of the vehicle speed limit command means; and a vehicle speed limit change rate regulating portion that regulates a rate of change of the vehicle speed limit by the vehicle speed limit setting portion in such a manner that the rate of change of the vehicle speed limit decreases with the vehicle speed limit command difference.
