Disclosed is a sliding-type portable terminal including: a first housing and a second housing slidably assembled with each other while being in contact with each other; and a sliding plate fixed to the first housing, wherein guide grooves are formed on one surface of the second housing and extend in a movement direction of the second housing, and the sliding plate includes guide members, which extend away from both ends of the sliding plate and slidably engaged with the guide grooves.
