摘要 The engine (1) has an exhaust-gas turbocharger (2), and an absorption refrigeration device (5) arranged downstream of a compressor (4) of the exhaust-gas turbocharger. The absorption refrigeration device is designed such that the absorption refrigeration device uses heat energy contained in compressed supercharged air for cooling an electrical energy storage (6) e.g. lithium ion battery. An intercooler (7) is arranged downstream to the compressor of the exhaust-gas turbocharger and connected with the absorption refrigeration device in a heat transfer manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling an electrical energy storage of a motor vehicle with a supercharged internal combustion engine.
