The multiswitch has input connections (11-14) for applying input signals, and a distribution device (50) for distributing the input signals to output connections (31, 32). Multifunctional connections (41-44) are internally switched as roaming connections or line connections by switching units (61-64). Detection units are assigned to the switching units and perform switching based on a device attached to the multifunctional connections. A network part supplies voltage to the multiswitch and is used for long-distance supply for a low noise block converter.
