PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow all of already acquired contents to be effectively utilized in a state wherein a plurality of users use a plurality of content sharing function-enabled content receivers connected to a home network. SOLUTION: The content receiver which discloses meta-information of contents in an HDD to devices in the home network irrespective of whether contents such as contents not acquired yet and reserved, contents protected from copy, move, and stream reproduction, and contents having the moving viewing keys, can be reproduced by other devices is used, whereby meta-information of all contents already acquired into the home network is shared to inform the users of the existence of all contents in the home network.
