<p>Disclosed is a panel for a display device, which is provided with: a first substrate (10), which includes a first electrode section (11), and a connecting section (12) that electrically connects the first electrode section (11) to external wiring; a second substrate (20), which is provided to face the first substrate (10), and which includes a second electrode section (21); and a common transfer material (30) which electrically connects the first electrode section (11) and the second electrode section (21) to each other. The second electrode section (21) includes a detecting section that detects damages of the second substrate (20), and the detecting section is electrically connected to the first electrode section (11) and the external wiring with the common transfer material (30) therebetween. With such configuration, breakage, chipping and the like of the second substrate, which is not directly connected to the external wiring, can be easily detected.</p> |
