A louvre system 10 comprising a frame 14, one or more blades 16, 18 which can pivot relative to the frame 14, resilient means for connecting at least one blade to the frame, an actuator 20 for selectively changing the angle of the one or more blades relative to the frame 14, and anti-forcing means. The actuator 20 alters the angle of only one of the blades 16 (the "driven" blade), which then alters the angle of the other blade(s) 18 (the "slave" blade(s)) associated with it. The anti-forcing means prevents forcing of the actuator 20 from causing damage to the components of the louvre system.
