<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver that reproduces a proper arbitrary viewpoint image when resuming interrupted viewing of program contents of the arbitrary viewpoint image, thereby improving user convenience. <P>SOLUTION: An arbitrary viewpoint image producing section 105 synthesizes multi-viewpoint video contents for producing an arbitrary viewpoint image, to produce an arbitrary viewpoint image of a viewpoint that automatically follows a set specific object. When any other program contents than the arbitrary viewpoint image are selected as program contents to be displayed, a system control section 107 stores in a storage section 108 information on the set specific object. When the program contents of an arbitrary viewpoint image are selected again as program contents to be displayed, the arbitrary viewpoint image producing section 105 produces the arbitrary viewpoint image of a viewpoint that automatically follows the set specific object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
