PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of easily performing a turning operation of a pressing member without enlarging a center side of the pressing member in a width direction. SOLUTION: A pair of first operation sections 33 projecting from both sides in the width direction of the pressing member 30 to a rear part are arranged on a rear end of the pressing member 30, a length from a turning fulcrum of the pressing member 30 to each first operation section 33 (force-applied point) can be enlarged since each first operation section 33 is pressed and operated from an upper part to a lower part with a fingertip when turning the pressing member 30, and pressing force for performing the turning operation of the pressing member 30 can be reduced. In this case, the pressing force can be surely transmitted by making the projection 33b used as a device to prevent slipping since projections 33b projected upward are respectively arranged at rear end sides of respective first operation sections 33. Furthermore, the center of the pressing member 30 in the width direction is not enlarged in the rear since respective first operation sections 33 are arranged outside in the width direction of the pressing member 30 rather than respective terminals 20.
