PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a column and a pile, which suppresses wasteful material costs and construction costs when a highly strong PCa column to be applied for high-storied buildings is jointed to a pile. SOLUTION: In the joint structure of a column and a pile wherein a PCa permanent sub-structural column 2 is jointed to an in-situ cast pile 3, a PCa permanent sub-structural column 2 is constituted of a square steel column member 11 formed on a closed cross section and of a PCa concrete part 12 filled in the square steel column member 11, and is configured to have an axial force transmitting part 10 formed on a closed section smaller than the in-situ cast pile 3 in the vicinity of the upper surface of the in-situ cast pile 3, and a foundation concrete 15 is formed right above the in-situ cast pile 3 so as to wind the axial force transmitting part 10. An outside annular projecting line 13 projecting from the outside surface and an inside annular projecting line 14 projecting from the inside surface, are formed on the square steel column member 11, enhancing a support force F3 with the outside surface of the axial force transmitting part 10 while reducing a support force F2 with the downward surface of the PCa permanent sub-structural column 2.
