PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform heat exchange between interior air and an evaporator. SOLUTION: By installing a duct 16 on a ceiling part of a refrigerator body 10, an evaporator chamber 50 is partitioned and formed, and the evaporator 40 is stored in a form in which a clearance 53 is provided between the evaporator 40 and a ceiling face 52. On the upper face of the evaporator 40, a closing plate 60 is laid in a form in which a front edge 60A thereof is shifted rearwardly by a predetermined dimension, and the upper face on the front end side of the evaporator 40 is opened in the clearance 53. When frost formation amount on the evaporator 40 is small, introduced interior air is made to flow within the evaporator 40 as much as possible without being blocked by the closing plate 60 and released to the clearance 53, so as to perform efficient heat exchange. When the frost formation amount increases to fill inside the evaporator 40, sucked interior air is made to flow from the upper position on the front face side of the evaporator 40 where timing of frost formation is relatively slow to the clearance 53, so as to maintain appropriate heat exchange.
