<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent falling of a carrier of an input side shift part, and to achieve further compactification of an axial direction dimension of the whole of a speed reduction mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A rotating tool incorporates the input side shift part and an output side shift part constituted of planetary speed reduction mechanisms by connecting the shift parts in series in the axial direction. The input side shift part includes a carrier restraining member for restraining an axial direction position of the carrier, and a ring gear slidably provided in the axial direction to switch a speed reduction state and a non-speed reduction state. The output side shift part includes a sun gear and a moving member connected to the sun gear to be slidable in the axial direction to switch the speed reduction state and a non-speed reduction state. The carrier of the input side shift part and the moving member are connected to be slidable in the axial direction. The carrier restraining member is arranged in a portion except a region held in the axial direction by mutual abutting surfaces of the carrier of the input side shift part and the moving member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
