PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device which can suppress a temperature rise accompanied by the reception of light, and to provide a fluid jetting apparatus equipped with the cooling device. SOLUTION: The cooling device 16 equipped in a printer includes a light receiving roller 31 which is arranged at a position opposed to a light irradiation device which irradiates light for promoting the curing of an ink adhering to paper S. When a part of the light receiving roller 31 is disposed at a light reception position where the light is received, other parts are arranged at non-light reception positions separated from the light reception position. The light receiving roller rotates so that the part arranged at the light reception position and the part arranged at the non light reception position are alternated with each other at specified timing.
