PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a conveyance motion which can reduce the number of preparation stages in the conveyance motion upon the construction of a duplication press line using a die same as the die in the existing press line. SOLUTION: The method for preparing a conveyance motion includes: a data reading step (S111); an upper die interference curve point lining step (S115); a new upper die interference curve individual setting step (S116) of producing new upper die interference curves to a plurality of partitioning points; a new upper die interference curve selection step (S117) of, among the new upper die interference curves, selecting a new upper die interference curve interfering with only one point among a plurality of partitioning points; and a new upper die interference curve compensation step (S118) of moving the new upper die interference curve selected by the new upper die interference curve selection step to a direction separated from the upper die so as to retain a prescribed clearance with the upper die to produce a set new upper die interference curve.
