PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration of a tank member externally attached to a compressor body while suppressing an increase in the size of a compressor. SOLUTION: In this electric compressor, an oil separator 40 is externally attached through a bracket 44 to the housing 30 of the compressor body 1 compressing and delivering a refrigerant. The housing 30 of the compressor body 1 includes: a cylindrical member 31 with an electric motor section 20 and a compression mechanism section 10 fixed therein and having an opened upper end; and an upper cover member 32 fixed to the upper end of the cylindrical member 31. The bracket 44 is connected to the outer surfaces of the cylindrical member 31 and oil separator 40, and connection portions 441a, 442a of the bracket 44, connected to the outer surface of the cylindrical member 31, are connected to the outer surface of the cylindrical member 31 other than a portion with the electric motor section 20 attached to the inside of the cylindrical member.
