Disclosed is an optical film which is characterized by being configured of cellulose acrylate and comprising a first region and a second region that have birefringences different from each other. The optical film is also characterized in that the angle between the slow axis of the first region and the slow axis of the second region is not less than 45°. The optical film can be produced at low cost and can be used for 3D stereoscopic image display.
