AUDIO TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

Provided is an audio transmission system including a transmitter device having a body with a protruding audio connector. The transmitter device is for connecting to an audio source via the connector to receive an analog audio signal, with the transmitter device being configured to convert the audio signal to a digital signal. The transmitter device has a transmitter for broadcasting the digital signal. Also included is at least one receiver device having a body with a protruding audio connector, the receiver device for connecting to an audio disseminator via the connector. The receiver device is configured to receive and convert the digital signal back to the audio signal when in range of the broadcast, and to deliver said audio signal to the audio disseminator for dissemination. The transmitter and receiver devices are paired at manufacture so that the receiver device is only responsive to the digital signal broadcast by the transmitter device. The current arrangement also provides for the associated transmitter and receiver devices.
