A full-face mask assembly (1210) includes a frame (1214) and a cushion (1216) provided to the frame (1214). The cushion (1216) is adapted to form a seal around the patient's nose and mouth. A flexible lip (1270) is provided to an interior wall of the cushion (1216). The flexible lip (1270) is adapted to engage the frame (1214) to provide a seal in use.
