<p>The present invention relates to the providing of a method for preparing a stool sample that enables nucleic acids in a stool to be stably preserved without requiring a complex procedure, a stool sample preparation solution and stool collection kit used in that method, and a method for recovering and analyzing nucleic acids in a stool using a stool sample prepared according to the preparation method of the present invention, and a stool sample having superior preservation of nucleic acids contained in the stool sample is prepared by mixing a collected stool with the stool sample preparation solution having for an active ingredient thereof a water-soluble organic solvent containing an organic acid.</p> |
