<p>PURPOSE: A dividing device of a distributed file system and a method thereof are provided to select the partition divided according to the access frequency of a user, thereby efficiently dividing the partition. CONSTITUTION: A frequency measuring unit(101) measures an access frequency to the partition which distributes and stores data at the first cycle. A load operator(103) generates the first load by using access frequencies corresponding to the second cycle at the second cycle which is the integral multiple of the first cycle. A partition control unit(102) controls partition division based on the second load computing the first loads corresponding to the third cycle at the third cycle which is the integral multiple of the second cycle.</p> |
