<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for accurately computing an estimated value of a movable body mounted with an electric system driving device typified by secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle 100 includes a main battery 110 that stores electrical energy for driving and ECU 180. The ECU 180 computes an estimated deterioration parameter based on usage history data associated with the main battery 110. The estimated deterioration parameter is outputted from the ECU 180 to a deterioration estimating device 300 external to the vehicle through a connector 190 and a transmitting device 200. The deterioration estimating device 300 estimates the state of deterioration and the remaining life of batteries based on the estimated deterioration parameter read from the ECU 180. An estimated value computing device 310 computes an estimated value reflecting the state of deterioration (remaining life) of the secondary battery 110 mounted in the vehicle 100, based on the state of deterioration or remaining life estimated at the deterioration estimating device 300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
