PURPOSE: A lithium battery is provided to prevent pressure increase within a battery by dissolving gas generated in charging/discharging in electrolyte and to improve stability such as a lifetime property. CONSTITUTION: A lithium battery(1) comprises a positive electrode(3), a negative electrode(2), and organic electrolytic solution. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material discharging oxygen in charging/discharging. The organic electrolytic solution includes lithium salts, organic solvent, and one selected from the group consisting of chemical formula 1: P(R1)a(OR2)b and chemical formula 2: O=P(R1)a(OR2)b. |
