PURPOSE: An image display device and a power information providing method thereof are provided to offer power information with low power with each power control of a main display and a sub display. CONSTITUTION: In case a power off command is received, a first display controller controls the power off of a first display unit(S715,S720). In case a second display unit is powered on, a second display controller confirms the activation of a PV(Photovoltaic) monitoring function(S725,S730). In case the PV monitoring function is activated, the second display controller receives a PV monitoring result(S735). The second display controller receives a total consumed energy quantity(S740). The second display controller outputs calculated power information to a second display unit(S750).
