PURPOSE: A pressure relief type plunger master cylinder is provided to prevent the remaining pressure in a chamber by employing a groove that is formed on the side of a relief port simultaneously when forming the relief port. CONSTITUTION: A pressure relief type plunger master cylinder comprises an input piston(4) and a relief groove(10). The input piston divides a cylinder body(1) into two hydraulic chambers(2,3) and is provided with power from a booster. A relief port(4b) bored toward the leading end of the input piston is connected to the side of the relief groove in order to extend the flow path of brake liquid. |
