<p>PURPOSE: A backlight device with quantum dots is provided to improve color reproduction by including the quantum dots on a diffusion sheet. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of light sources(200) are arranged with a space. A diffusion sheet(300) diffuses light emitted from the light source. The diffusion sheet includes QDs(Quantum Dots) which selectively change the wavelength band of light. The quantum dots change light of blue wavelength band into the light of the green or red wavelength band. The quantum dots change the light of an ultraviolet wavelength band into the light of blue, green or red wavelength band. The quantum dots are formed on an incident surface of the diffusion sheet with coating, depositing, or spraying method.</p> |
