<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility for setting calculation timing and a carrier period while a calculation load is inhibited from being increased and a control is inhibited from being delayed when a plurality of motors are vector-controlled by a single CPU. <P>SOLUTION: A controller of an AC motor divides a first processing into second and third processings as individual interrupt processings if a rotation angle and a current value are read into a digital calculation means, and a current feedback control calculation is implemented in response to the read data. The first processing is a processing for implementing readout of the rotation angle, an AD conversion process for the current value, and a current feedback control calculation based on the read rotation angle and current value. The second processing is a processing for implementing readout of the rotation angle data and current data within a extent from readout of the rotation angle to a completion of the AD conversion of the current value. The third processing is a processing for implementing the current feedback control calculation in response to the read data.
