The door hinge (1) has a pillar fitting (2) that is arranged at a vehicle body and a door panel (3) that is connected with a vehicle door. A connecting section is provided with a prismatic shape with polygonal base- and upper surface and side surfaces. The door panel or the pillar fitting has a receiver opening with an appropriately designed cross-section. The door panel or the pillar fitting receives the connecting section.
