PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve brightness by improving color reproducibility and light transmittance by using a fourth color filter. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate(200) and a second substrate which are placed facing each other, a liquid crystal layer formed between the first and the second substrates, and a red, a green, a blue, and a yellow color filters(240a,240b,240c,240d). The fourth color filter is made of high transmittance color and the effective area of the fourth color filter has smaller than other color filters. |
