TIRE WITH COMPONENT CONTAINING CARBON NANOTUBES

PURPOSE: A tire having a component containing carbon nanotubes is provided to improve thermal durability by reducing heat accumulation. CONSTITUTION: A tire comprises a tread containing a rubber compound which includes carbon nanotubes of 1 to 10phr. The carbon nanotubes have one or more kinds of diene rubber, precipitated silica of 60 to 150phr, and carbon black less than 40phr, and the length of the carbon nanotubes is 5 microns or greater. The volume resistance of the tread is less than 1×10^9Ω-cm when measured by ASTM D257-98.
