A JAW OF A MACHINE TOOL WITH CHUCK

PURPOSE: A jaw of a chuck for a machine tool is provided to safely install the jaw in a chuck body even if the jaw is reversely positioned. CONSTITUTION: A jaw(200) of a chuck for a machine tool comprises rack gears(221) and engagement prevention units(222). The rack gears are formed in the bottom of the jaw. The engagement prevention units are formed in the front and rear parts of the jaw that the rack gears are installed and are protruded in the direction of a chuck body. The jaw is formed in each guide groove formed in the chuck body.
