PURPOSE: A driving circuit and a display device having the same are provided to reduce the number of lines by transmitting a data control signal and a gamma control signal in a blank section before an image signal is transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A timing controller(120) outputs an image signal and a control signal each frame when a signal is received from the outside. A first gamma reference voltage generation circuit(150) outputs the third and fourth gamma reference voltages having the polarity different from polarity of the first and second gamma reference voltages. A second gamma reference voltage generation circuit outputs at least one fifth gamma reference voltage and at least one sixth gamma reference signal. A selection unit receives first and second data voltages and outputs a data voltage. A data driver(140) receives first to fourth gamma reference voltages, an image signal, and a control signal and generates a data voltage.
