<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confirmatory mark for registration, by which a positional deviation is easily confirmed by visual observation or with an external appearance inspecting machine, and also to provide a printed matter and an inspecting method for registration. <P>SOLUTION: This confirmatory mark for registration consists of: an inside reference pattern made of a solid pattern having an outward shaped form of an fixed area; and an outside reference pattern made of a frame part, the outer peripheral edge of which is larger than the outward shaped form of the inside reference pattern, formed on a transparent base sheet under the condition that the outer peripheral edge of the inside reference pattern is formed so as to overlap with the frame part of the outside reference pattern. If the positional deviation exceeding an allowance develops between the inside reference pattern and the outside reference pattern, the inside of the frame part of the outside reference pattern is not hidden by the inside reference pattern, resulting in the exposed portion of the base sheet develops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
