<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of carrying out a treatment for turning asbestos contained in asbestos-containing scrap wood nonasbestic without worsening ambient surroundings by asbestos particulates, and of recycling as an inorganic filler or the like by making an inorganic powder containing no asbestos. <P>SOLUTION: The asbestos-containing scrap wood is charged from a slot kept with a negative pressure into the inside, and crushed so as to turn to 1 mm or less in the size by a devil tooth crusher (coarse crusher) 1, a hammer crusher 3, and a high-speed rotating impact breaker 4, and the obtained debris is flow-transported together with air through piping 11 to a silo 7, and heated at the atmosphere temperatures of≥1,000°C and≤1,450°C and for one second or more by a heating device 5 during the flow-transporting to make asbestos contained in the debris nonasbestos, which is separated from air by a recovery apparatus 6 and accumulated in the silo. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
