PURPOSE: A digital image processing apparatus and method supporting high-speed AF are provided to set the AF search start point and AF search direction of a plurality of lenses with a present focus location. CONSTITUTION: A user performs AF with the press of a half shutter(S610). A digital image processing device grasps the location of the synchronous position AFp of a lens(S620). In case the AFp escapes an AF safety distance, the digital image processing device establishes the search start point of a plurality of lenses(S630,S650). In case the AFp is within the AF safety distance, the digital image processing device differently establishes the AF search direction of each lens. |
