The section (1) has two partial regions (1a, 1b), which are pivoted against each other and are folded along a pivoting axis. The partial regions comprise a uniform base surface with respect to the pivoting axis. A protrusion (5) is brought on an upper side of one of the partial regions. The partial regions comprise a circumferential edge (4) at an upper side of the partial regions. The circumferential edge is arranged at a distance from the protrusion. The protrusion comprises a contact surface at a region of an upper edge of the protrusion. An independent claim is also included for a system steam cooker comprising a base section, a frame attached at the base part, and a cover attached on the frame.
