PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network monitoring method, a network monitoring system and a network monitoring program capable of more surely performing security management such as measures against viruses and security control in information equipment connected to an intranet. SOLUTION: To a branch office network W1 and a head office network W2, a client terminal 10 and a server 20 are connected. The branch office network W1 and the head office network W2 are connected to the management network W of an authentication server 30. In the case that the client terminal 10 is to acquire data from the server 20 connected to the head office network W2, the authentication server 30 is accessed. In the case that software for measures against the viruses in the client terminal 10 is not a standard version, the authentication server 30 updates the software for the measures against the viruses in the client terminal 10 to the standard version and then permits connection to the server 20.
