A ventilation system (300) includes a plurality of fan units. Each of the fan units includes a fan (310) to generate an air stream, and a duct (320) disposed upstream of the air stream with respect to the fan and defining a flow channel having a square-shaped section to guide air into the fan, the flow channel being coaxial with a rotating shaft (311) of the fan. The fan units are arranged in a direction crossing the shaft so that the rotating shafts are disposed in parallel to each other.
