PURPOSE: A method for controlling an external apparatus according to the power state and an electronic apparatus using the same are provided to enable a first external apparatus to be used in the power-off state by switching the first external apparatus to a second external apparatus or the electronic apparatus according to the power state when the first external apparatus is connected. CONSTITUTION: The first and second interface units(260,270) are respectively connected to the first and second external apparatus. A switch(250) switches the first external apparatus to the second external apparatus or the electronic apparatus to be accessed. The first external apparatus is connected to the first interface unit. When the power of the electronic apparatus is power-on state, the controller controls the switch for making the first external apparatus access the electronic apparatus. When the power of the electronic apparatus is power-off state, the controller controls the switch for making the first external apparatus access the second external apparatus. |
