PURPOSE: An image display device and an operation method thereof are provided to power on the image display device in power on timing in a manner mode. CONSTITUTION: In case an image display device is in a manner mode, a controller confirms a channel change mode(S225,S235). In case the image display device is not in the manner mode, the controller keeps the volume of power off timing(S230). In case the image display device is the channel change mode, the controller changes the stored volume and channel into a set volume and channel(S245). In case the image display device is not in the channel change mode, the controller changes the stored volume into a set volume(S240). |
