UNIFIED VIDEO-ON-DEMAND SERVICE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An integrated VOD service system is provided to smoothly switch a streaming mode into a PDL mode. CONSTITUTION: A communicating gateway(100) is located on a signal transmission path between user terminals(10,20) and a video server(200). The communicating gateway offers a video request which the user terminal transmits to the video server. The communicating gateway offers the video of the video server to the user terminal. The communicating gateway synchronizes the protocol of the video server and the protocol of the user terminal.
