PURPOSE: A device for detecting molten metal of furnace is provided to measure molten metal amount and to detect the corrosion status of inner wall of a molten metal container. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting molten metal of furnace comprises a sensing coil(140) and a signal processing unit(150). The signal processing unit independently applies a voltage signal to a plurality of sensing coils. The signal processing unit independently detects a current signal which can be changed according to the distance difference from the molten steel stored in the molten metal container. A plurality of sensing coils comprises an upper sensing coil, arranged higher than an iron notch of the molten metal container, and a lower sensing coil, arranged lower than the iron notch. A plurality of sensing coils is separated from each other in a vertical direction at a regular interval along the wall of the molten metal container.
