The method involves mixing the components in a mixing device (2) and applying the mass with an applicator (3). A physical or chemical characteristic is measured in the mixing device. The condition value of the mass estimated from the measured parameter is determined at specific time. The condition value is assigned to a control- or signaling device (30) arranged at applicator. An independent claim is also included for a device for preparing of a mass from two components.
