METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEARCHING CONTENTS IN TOUCH SCREEN DEVICE

PURPOSE: A contents search method and device for a touch screen device is provided to embody a hierarchical data search by using the touch and the drag. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel(110) senses the touch and the drag signal for selecting the contents. When the touch panel senses a first and second contents selection signal, a controller(120) extracts the contents between the first and second contents and displays the representative contents among the extracted contents. The controller uses the two representative contents and repeats the process. When the first contents is selected, the controller successively displays the contents between the first and second contents.
