PURPOSE: A guard lamp controller and a switching method of a guard lamp using the same are provided to accurately maintain a timing of an actual timing unit by comparing the time of the timing unit with a GPS time. CONSTITUTION: A communications unit(100) receives a control signal. The control signal comprises a security light flicker signal The communications unit transmits the status information of the security light(700). A controller(500) controls the security light flicker. The controller is converted into an independent operation mode through turning control of the security. A storage(600) stores sunrise / sunset time information at each local region.
