METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SIZE CLASSIFICATION OF METALLIC NANOPARTICLES BY USING PULSED MAGNETIC FIELDS

PURPOSE: A metal nano powder classification apparatus and method using a pulse magnetic field are provided to apply a pulse magnetic field to a metal nano powder dispersed solution while controlling the size, pulse width and repetition rate of the pulse magnetic field to accurately classify the nano powder. CONSTITUTION: A metal nano powder classification apparatus using a pulse magnetic field includes a classifier pipe(10), a pulse magnetic fields generator(20) and a pulse power supply(30). A metal nano powder dispersed solution flows in the classifier pipe. The pulse magnetic field generator generates a pulse magnetic field for classifying and applies the pulse magnetic field to the nano power dispersed solution in the classifier pipe. The pulse power supply provides power to the pulse magnetic field generator.
