PURPOSE: A phosphor is provided to improve stability to radiation load and resistance to the influence of atmospheric humidity. CONSTITUTION: A unit for improving stability to radiation load and resistance to the influence of atmospheric humidity in strontium oxyorthosilicate phosphors is added as silicate phosphors of chemical formula: Sr_(3-x-y-z)Ca_xM^II_ySiO_5 : Eu_z having calcium molar fraction x between 0-0.05. In chemical formula, a europium molar fraction z is the value of a range of <=0.25; and M^II is divalent metallic ion selected from the group consisting of agnesium, barium, copper, zinc and manganese. |
