发明名称 Procédé et dispositif pour la fabrication de plaques à ondulations transversales en résine renforcée de fibres
摘要 1,024,001. Seaming non-metallic sheet material. SOC. DES PLASTIQUES S. G V. April 26, 1963 [April 26, 1962], No. 16539/63. Heading B5K. A web of corrugated fibrereinforced resin sheet of unlimited length is produced by forming corrugated sheets each of the same length measured in the direction of the generatrices of their corrugations and assembling the sheets by adhesively securing their edges parallel to said generatrices with the sheets overlapping over an area such that each corrugation which includes the surface of adhesion is of the same pitch as the corrugations of the said sheets. The lateral edges of the sheets are sand-blasted by a device 1 comprising a sander 2, Figs. 1 and 3, and a sheet carrying trolley 3 movable on rails 17, Fig. 3. The apparatus also comprises a table 4 on which adhesive is applied to the sand-blasted edges, two presses 5, 6 of which the press 5 is fixed and the press 6 displaceable parallel thereto, and a winder 7. Tables 8, 9, 10, 11, an air compressor 12 and an air filter 13 are also provided. A jet 16, Fig. 3, of sand is projected by compressed air on to the edge 19 of the sheet to roughen the surface thereof. The carriage 3 is stopped when it contacts a circuitbreaker 18<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 2 (not shown), the sheet is turned over and the carriage reversed so that the edge 20 is sanded. The sheets are stored on the table 8 and then placed singly on the table 4 on which the edges 19, 20 are coated with adhesive. The sheets are singly placed on the table 9 and pushed towards the press 5 so as to rest with the adhesive-coated surface of its edge 19 on the adhesive-coated surface of the edge 20 of a sheet which has already entered the press. The press 5 comprises columns 23, 23<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 6, supported fixed I-section members 27, 31 and vertically movable I-section members 32, 35, this vertical movement being imparted by a screw-threaded shaft 36 rotated in either direction by a motor 39. The die-stamp assembly is arranged between the members 31, 35. In one embodiment, Fig. 7, the lower die may be made of steel and an insulating polyester plate 47 is placed between the die and the member 31. An electrical resistance 48 is held in a space 49 by an asbestos packing 53 through which electrical leads (not shown) pass. The upper die mounted on the member 32 comprises a metal jaw 57 having a flexible pipe 58 passing therethrough and to which compressed air is supplied to apply a uniform pressure to the edges to be cemented. Alternatively, the pipe 58 may be replaced by a flexible cylinder of solid or cellular rubber. An additional pressure applying element 62 is provided. In a modification. Fig. 8, for use with larger pitch corrugations a wooden support 54 having a corrugated profile is provided. Two flexible pipes 48, a supplementary element 60 of wood and soft rubber and an element 61 assist in making perfect contact. Sheets disposed longitudinally may be simultaneously cemented by using a plurality of presses, e.g. presses 5, 6, in series. The tables 9, 10 on which the sheets are fed to the presses 5, 6 are pivotable about a horizontal axis parallel to the presses and can take up three positions, namely a horizontal position feeding the sheets, a vertical position permitting access between the presses and a third intermediate position which facilitates removal of the sheets from the dies after cementing. The table 10 is pivotable about two shafts 70, Fig. 10, and is swung by a compressed air ram 73 pivoted at 74 to the member 27, the piston of the ram being pivoted at 75. During pivoting of the table 10 to the intermediate position hooks 76, 77 lock and a spring 78 is compressed during this movement. On expanding the spring 78 returns the table to the horizontal when the action of the ram ceases. To move the table 10 to the vertical position the hooks 76, 77 are separated by a handle 82 causing a cam 83 to move to a position 83<SP>1</SP>. The sheets 51, 52 to be cemented are preferably cut from a longitudinally corrugated web. The resulting transversely corrugated web is wound into a roll by the winder 7.
