PURPOSE: A flow path changing valve module and a position detection method of a valve drive gear using the same are provided to accurately move the position of a valve drive gear by accurately sensing the formation point of a through hole using a position detection sensor. CONSTITUTION: A flow path changing valve module comprises a valve drive gear(110) and a position detection sensor. The cylindrical blocking wall of the valve drive gear has multiple through holes(113). The position detection sensor is arranged on one side of the valve drive gear and measures the position of the valve drive gear using the through holes. The through holes have multiple position detection holes(116).
